Andrew

Andrew Clayton - Pharmacist

Andrew studied to become a pharmacist at The Victorian College of Pharmacy (Monash) and qualified in 1994. He has been an Accredited Consultant Pharmacist since 2000 and he has worked with the doctors at OMC for the last 10 years, performing thousands of medication reviews in that time. Thanks to the belief of the doctors in Colac that a clinical pharmacy service would be a valuable addition to their practice, he was one of the pioneers of this new style of pharmacy practice, one which is becoming increasingly common thanks to Medicare funding.

Andrew has a strong focus on collaboration, working with the doctors, local pharmacies and patients to make sure they are getting the best out of their medicines. He strongly believes that communication and partnerships are all important in healthcare and that Colac has one of the most progressive and complete health networks in Victoria."
