Justin was born and trained in Melbourne. He has experience in Britain and in Canada. Justin provides general consulting, and has a special interest in dermatology. He has been part of medicine in Colac for more than 40 years. Prior experience in Anaesthetics and Obstetrics. Dr. Madden provides a weekly clinic at Mercy Aged Care. Justin’s interests include farming and caring for and treeing our environment. He also enjoys a spot of ocean fishing.
Born and trained in Scotland. He does general consulting and has a broad knowledge of medicine. Past skills include Anaesthetics, Obstetrics and Acupuncture. George has been with this practice for 25+ years. George is passionate about machinery and his leisure is spent working his farm and tinkering with machinery and equipment.
Mira gained her medical degree in Albania and she has lived in Australia since 1998. Mira and her family have been living in Colac since 2009 and she successfully gained her Fellowship in 2011. Mira enjoys all aspects of General Family Medicine and she has a special interest in Aged Care. Mira provides a regular clinic at Barongarook Lodge - Residential Aged Care Facility. Mira and her husband have two boys. Mira also has a certificate in Skin Medicine.
Mohammad grew up in Indonesia and completed his secondary education in Melbourne. He then gained his medical degree at Melbourne University in 2010. He has general practice experience in Adelaide as well as extensive hospital experience and he has extra qualifications in managing Drug and Alcohol dependencies. He is now very interested in skin medicine and wound care. Mohammad lives in Colac with his wife and three young boys.
Yash has worked in General Practice in Warrnambool and prior to this in Ocean Grove. He has hospital experience in Traralgon and Epping. Yash has a special interest in all sports and sports medicine. Yash also has a certificate in skin cancer medicine. Yash provides general consulting and nursing home care. He is a sports fan and enjoys football (soccer) and tennis.
Ebrahim completed his medical degree at Melbourne University in 2008. He has worked in Warrnambool and Geelong Hospitals over the past 8 years. He has a special interest in ENT medicine and has worked as a surgical registrar in this area at University Hospital (formerly Barwon Health) in Geelong. Ebrahim is very committed to becoming an accomplished General Practitioner.
Raghad has worked in Tasmania and Geelong. She has also worked at Colac Area Health as a Hospital Medical Officer (HMO). She is very enthusiastic about working in General Practice and she has a special interest in Women's Health. Raghad can provide shared obstetric care to 20 weeks.
Zahra has lived and worked in Australia since 2012. She has worked as a Hospital Medical Officer (HMO) at Barwon Health in Geelong and as a GP in a busy General Practice in Caroline Springs, Victoria. Zahra speaks Urdu, Punjab and Hindi. Zahra will be working full-time at the Otway Clinic for 12 -18 months.
Brooke grew up in Geelong and knows this district well. She completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide. Brooke commenced General Practice Training in Terang and Mortlake in 2018 and understands rural medicine well. Brooke returns from maternity leave in August and will work 2 days a week. (Currently on Maternity Leave
Seung has a broad range of hospital experience including emergency medicine. He has worked in General Practice in the Geelong region during 2019 and prior to that worked at University Hospital (Barwon Health). We sincerely hope that Seung will be part of our team for many years to come and he looks forward to becoming an active member in our community.
Evelyn is a second year Registrar, now working part time in 2021 at 2 days per week. She has been working in medicine in Australia since 2014 at the Austin Hospital and in Echuca and Warrnambool as a Paediatric Registrar. Evelyn also has experience and an interest in sexual and reproduction health. She has relocated to Colac from Melbourne with her husband and infant daughter. Her languages (in addition to English) are: Chinese, Mandarin.
Hsun (pronounced as Shin) has worked as an Emergency Registrar at University Hospital in Geelong undertaking his Emergency Medicine Certificate. He speaks Mandarin, Taiwanese and French. We are excited to have him join our team in 2021.
