Background – After finishing his MBBS from The University of Melbourne in 2010, he spent 4 years exploring different areas of medicine through his training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He decided to pursue a career in General Practice and joined Otway Medical Clinic in 2015. He finished his specialty GP training with the Royal Australian College of General practitioners in 2019.
Special Interest – Mohammad values the difficulty some patients have in bringing up difficult topics, such as mental health issues and addiction issues. He respects patients who are serious about getting better and brave enough to raise the issues. He believes that solutions can be achieved through trusting and respectful partnership between doctors and patients. He loves planting seeds of hopes in his patients, and finds the delight when seeing them grow.

His main clinical interests are Chronic Disease, Geriatric Medicine, Mental health and.Addiction issues. He is an opioid replacement therapy prescriber. He can also conduct Counselling through Focussed Psychological Strategies sessions for patients with Mental Health Care Plan.

Hobbies – Mohammad values the importance of balance in life. He spends much of his other time spent with his family. He likes to explore new places and new activities with his family. Of course, his house is never quiet with his 4 children.

Availability – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
