Seung grew up in Melbourne and, after a brief detour into working in law and policy, obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2013. Following graduation, he trained at Westmead Hospital and St George Hospital in Sydney. He then relocated back to Victoria, working for a couple of years in the Emergency Department at University Hospital Geelong, before starting general practice training. He completed his training at Otway Medical Clinic in 2020 and has stayed on since, settling into the local area with his young family.

Seung enjoys helping people with all aspects of their health and puts a lot of effort into really getting to know his patients. He has particular interests in preventative health and chronic disease management, mental health, and emergency medicine. He has obtained additional training in cognitive behavioural therapy and can provide counselling under Mental Health Care Plans, and he also supervises ward rounds and after hours in the Urgent Care at Colac Area Health.

Seung is passionate about the environment and its role in health, is a volunteer with his local CFA brigade and on most weekends can be found taking direction from his partner in the garden. Seung currently works 3 days week in the clinic and is proficient in Korean.
