Skin check’s are recommended for everyone who has worked outdoors, participated in outdoor sports, are over 50, have a personal or family history of Skin Cancer, or have ever been sunburnt. Doctors working in this clinic use a specialized equipment (dermatoscope) to identify and differentiate different types of skin conditions and provide treatments which can vary from cryotherapy, topical treatment with creams and surgical removal.
Dr. Mira Pojani has done special training regarding skin cancer diagnosis and management and provides a skin cancer clinic every alternate Friday in which she provides a full body skin check and plan for further management as needed.
